I use a butane torch to get cells of color to bubble up to the surface
Sharp Edges One painting so they don't eat themOil, cold wax, collage, and graphite 10 x 10 on oil paper Sharp Edges One is a joyful celebration of color and form. With more than a dozen layers of cold wax medium and collage paper, each colorful shape competes for the viewer's attention. Playful thin graphite lines are carved back through these layers to vie for notice too. There are three paintings in the "Sharp Edge" series.
